Banyan Tree Xianju Resort Hotel is an architecturally significant resort development located in Xianju County, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, China, that masterfully integrates traditional Chinese mountain village architecture with contemporary design elements. Completed in 2021, this Silver A' Design Award-winning project showcases an innovative approach to luxury hospitality architecture through its thoughtful response to the complex terrain and rich cultural context of its location at the east foot of Wujia Mountain. The resort's design philosophy centers on the harmonious blend of vernacular architecture with modern amenities, featuring a sophisticated arrangement of buildings that follow the natural topography, with public spaces nestled beneath guest accommodations to maximize views of the surrounding Shenxianju scenic area. The architectural composition comprises four distinct buildings, with three combining public areas and guest rooms, while the fourth is dedicated entirely to guest accommodations.
