Originally reconstructed following a severe earthquake in 2014, the school represents a groundbreaking approach to resilient educational infrastructure in seismically active regions. The architectural design, which earned the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, features a sophisticated steel skeleton frame structure that effectively absorbs seismic vibrations while facilitating rapid construction. The building, measuring 18000 x 12000 x 5400 mm, masterfully combines modern construction techniques with local architectural traditions, incorporating indigenous materials such as bamboo and wood alongside industrial components like cement board, metal sheeting, and polycarbonate panels. The design demonstrates exceptional environmental sensitivity through its incorporation of natural ventilation and daylighting strategies, while its modular construction system and use of standardized industrial materials significantly expedited the building process. The school's design philosophy emphasizes sustainability and cultural context, serving as a prototype for earthquake-resistant public buildings in rural Thailand.
