Conceived and executed by art director Andre Teh-hsi Chen and his design team, this multifaceted campaign transformed traditional sports event promotion through its distinctive visual language and integrated communication approach. The project, which culminated in a major sporting showcase at Taipei Arena, Taiwan, distinguished itself through its sophisticated design elements, including advertising posters, campaign brochures, kinetic pictograms, and digital media components. The design's visual identity broke conventional sporting event aesthetics by departing from traditional Olympic color schemes, instead drawing inspiration from archery target colors - incorporating indigo, blood red, and glory gold yellow to symbolize athletic achievement and aspiration. The typography ingeniously integrated sports elements into its structure, featuring motifs from various athletic disciplines such as archery and tennis, while the implementation of kinetic pictograms represented a pioneering departure from conventional mascot-based sports event communication. The project's technical execution spanned multiple formats, including 4K HDTV content, print materials, and digital signage, demonstrating remarkable versatility in cross-media application. This innovative approach to sports event communication design earned recognition from the A' Design Award, receiving a Bronze A' Design Award in the Advertising, Marketing and Communication Design category, acknowledging its contribution to advancing the field of sports event promotion and public engagement.
