Zeekr Center Exhibition Space is an innovative retail and exhibition environment that exemplifies the convergence of traditional cultural elements with contemporary automotive display design, recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. This sophisticated architectural project, completed in 2022, represents a significant advancement in automotive retail spaces, functioning as both a high-end electric vehicle showroom and a cultural gathering space. The design philosophy integrates local architectural heritage, particularly drawing inspiration from the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys' ancient house culture, manifesting in the thoughtful incorporation of traditional elements such as curved cornices and arched saddle walls transformed into modern geometric expressions. The two-story space features a meticulously planned ground floor dedicated to vehicle exhibition and configuration, utilizing grey satin stainless steel, super white transparent glass, and beige artistic paints to create an elegant backdrop that enhances product presentation. The second floor houses a distinctive tea house space that pays homage to Fuzhou's tea culture, with design elements inspired by jasmine flowers, the city's symbolic bloom. The material palette extends to include rock grey toned carpet, white light membrane, silver grey metallic curtain, beige grey quartzite slate, and natural wood, creating a harmonious environment that bridges traditional and contemporary design languages. The space overcomes significant architectural challenges through innovative solutions, including the strategic use of existing site forms and the implementation of a clear visual flow that guides visitors from the product exhibition area through to a terrace space designed for community engagement and co-creation, exemplifying the project's success in creating an urban parlor that facilitates both commercial and social interactions.
