ZDCollections Book Design is an innovative book design project that represents a significant advancement in contemporary publishing design, created by designer Xue Jiang and team in 2019-2020. This comprehensive design work stands out for its revolutionary approach to layout and content presentation, breaking away from traditional frame-type layouts to create a more dynamic and engaging reading experience. The design systematically reorganizes the collective works of 23 students, categorizing them into fundamental design elements such as typography, graphics, and RGB components, before reconstructing them into a cohesive narrative. The book's distinctive cover design employs laser material technology to create an intentional blur effect, symbolizing the fluid boundaries between color and graphic elements while drawing readers' attention to the internal content. Measuring 150mm x 252mm and spanning 430 pages, the publication demonstrates exceptional attention to technical details, including carefully controlled color saturation, ink penetration, and image reduction in printing quality. The design philosophy extends beyond mere aesthetic considerations to encompass the entire user experience, from the tactile quality of paper selection to the rhythmic composition of space and content.
