Z Residential Interior Design

Z Residential Interior Design is an innovative residential interior design project that exemplifies the emotional connection between architecture and human experience, particularly drawing inspiration from the nurturing embrace of maternal love. This thoughtfully executed design, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, masterfully combines cold tonal aesthetics with elements of warmth through its distinctive arc-shaped architectural features. The 8287mm x 6853mm x 2700mm space employs a sophisticated material palette including marble, terrazzo, FENIX, cement, and titanium-plated metal, creating a harmonious interplay of textures and surfaces. The design's most notable feature is its 3D arc ceiling design, which metaphorically represents a mother's embrace, creating a protective and comforting atmosphere within the living space. The project demonstrates exceptional technical prowess in its careful material convergence and precise execution of curved architectural elements, particularly in the meticulous construction of the arc-shaped ceiling that required multiple iterations to achieve its desired softness. The interior's transformation included the strategic removal of partition walls to maximize natural light penetration, while the thoughtful integration of various gray tones creates a neutral yet layered foundation that can accommodate diverse color accents. This minimalist approach, completed between November 2019 and May 2020, reflects a deep understanding of contemporary living spaces, where simplicity and emotional resonance coexist to create a meditative environment that serves as a sanctuary from the outside world.
