Yushan World Sales Center is an innovative architectural and interior design project located in Jiangyin, China, exemplifying the harmonious fusion of commerce and artistic expression through its distinctive butterfly-inspired design concept. The 7,000-square-meter facility features a remarkable interior layout that mirrors the building's butterfly form, incorporating abstract symmetrical wings and arc-shaped walls that create a sophisticated interplay of spatial segmentation and flow. The design draws inspiration from the butterfly-like terrain of Jiangyin City, symbolically representing transformation and ecological artistry in urban development. The center's architectural highlights include a dramatic 9-meter floor height entrance space with two curved non-bearing walls, constructed using innovative wood and biofiber plastic composites to address structural challenges while maintaining environmental consciousness. The space is enhanced by strategic natural lighting through an artful combination of atrium spaces and expansive French windows, creating a serene atmosphere that metaphorically represents the metamorphosis from cocoon to butterfly. The facility incorporates cutting-edge technology through its 3D surround multimedia hall, offering visitors an immersive experience. Designed by Li Guo and Li Wang, this exceptional project, completed in 2010, has been recognized with a Gold A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its outstanding contribution to innovative spatial design and commercial architecture.
