This comprehensive system, developed by designers Junru Xu, Zhongqi Fu, and Zixi Liu, combines a physical interactive device in the form of a traditional yo-yo with sophisticated mobile application technology to create meaningful connections between separated parents and children. The physical component features a 10cm x 10cm x 4.5cm multifunctional device crafted from plastic, metal, and cotton materials, incorporating advanced health monitoring sensors that track vital metrics including heart rate and stress levels. The innovative design transforms from a playful yo-yo into a functional table stand and communication device, making it both engaging and practical for children aged 0-17. The accompanying mobile application leverages artificial intelligence to facilitate real-time voice messaging, health monitoring, and personalized support, creating a comprehensive ecosystem for maintaining parent-child bonds across distances.
