Yohocube Cardboard Construction Set

Yohocube Cardboard Construction Set

Yohocube Cardboard construction set is an innovative educational construction toy system designed for children aged 6-12 and creative adults, featuring a groundbreaking approach to cardboard-based building elements. The system consists of precisely engineered cubes and prisms that connect through a unique, patent-pending folding fastener mechanism, revolutionizing the concept of cardboard construction toys by eliminating the need for adhesives while maintaining structural integrity. This eco-friendly design utilizes 3-layer cellulose cardboard, cut with specialized stamps for mass production, with individual cubes measuring 80x80x80mm when assembled and prisms at 115x55x80mm. The construction set's distinguishing feature lies in its ability to create robust structures capable of supporting weights up to 40 kilograms, making it suitable for creating functional toy furniture while remaining portable and easy to transport. The system begins with flat components that users must first assemble into basic geometric forms, promoting the development of spatial awareness and motor skills through hands-on engagement. This educational aspect is further enhanced by the set's ability to teach principles of 3D design and engineering through practical application. The product, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Toys, Games and Hobby Products Design category, represents a significant advancement in sustainable toy design, combining environmental consciousness with durability and educational value. The construction set's innovative connection method sets it apart from traditional building toys, allowing for secure assembly and disassembly while maintaining the structural integrity necessary for active play and practical applications.
