Yizheng Experience Center Children Eraser Showcase

Yizheng Experience Center Children Eraser Showcase is an innovative interior design project that revolutionizes the concept of corporate exhibition spaces through its unique approach to showcasing children's erasers and manufacturing capabilities. This Silver A' Design Award-winning installation, completed in 2016, spans approximately 200 square meters and comprises three distinct areas: a conference space, retail mockup zone, and experience area, connected by a conceptual tunnel. The design's philosophical foundation rests on the metaphorical relationship between erasers and childhood memories, exploring how time selectively erases negative experiences while preserving positive ones. The space features groundbreaking applications of rubber as a material, particularly evident in its custom-designed pendant lights and innovative lighting installations that exploit rubber's optical properties. The experience center's journey begins with a concept tunnel, where a strategic 15-degree angled display presents five key posters divided by a transitioning line from black to white, symbolizing the temporal progression from past to future. The retail mockup area demonstrates product diversity through an impressive acrylic wall display, while the experience zone showcases technical innovation through two remarkable rubber light installations: one utilizing shadows to reveal Chinese characters, and another creating a light-painted composition through colored rubber block reflections. The space's circulation is meticulously planned to enhance the sales journey, incorporating factory visits between conference sessions and experiential zones. This design stands out for its departure from conventional manufacturing showcase centers by prioritizing emotional connections and material innovation over traditional industrial demonstrations, marking a significant evolution in B2B communication spaces and earning recognition through the prestigious A' Design Award competition for its outstanding contribution to interior space and exhibition design.
