Yinchuan Sunac City Sales Center is an exemplary architectural masterpiece located on the banks of Gedi Lake in the eastern area of Yinchuan city, distinguished by its innovative minimalist design and harmonious integration with the natural landscape. Completed in July 2020, this 450-square-meter structure serves as both a sales center and a cultural hub, embodying a sophisticated blend of form and function through its distinctive circular volume and elegant curved elements. The building's most striking feature is its half-moon shaped roof that extends gracefully toward the lake, supported by rhythmically arranged perforated columns that create a floating effect. The facade incorporates custom-designed perforated panels featuring patterns inspired by Malan flowers, Yinchuan's city flower, while the lake-facing elevation utilizes transparent tempered hollow glass curtain walls paired with pear white roofing aluminum panels. The structural design overcame significant engineering challenges, particularly in achieving the complex slanting roof configuration while maintaining visual lightness. The building's integration with its surroundings is enhanced through built-in light strips that illuminate the structure at night, creating a ethereal presence over the water. This architectural achievement, recognized with a Golden A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category in 2021, demonstrates exceptional innovation in spatial design, environmental integration, and cultural sensitivity.
