Yi Yun Art Art Center

Yi Yun Art Art Center

Yi Yun Art Art Center is a sophisticated architectural and interior design achievement located in Qingtian Street, Taiwan, conceived as an exclusive space for artistic exchange and exhibition. This 205-square-meter facility, completed in December 2016, embodies the philosophical duality expressed through its name - where Yi represents contrast and Yun symbolizes eternal nature's essence. The center's design masterfully integrates traditional Oriental aesthetics with contemporary exhibition spaces, featuring a striking front courtyard adorned with autumn maple trees, vintage doors, and cultured stones that create an immediate artistic impression. The interior space is characterized by its thoughtful design elements, including white walls with track lighting systems, fair-faced walls, and ebony wood floors that create distinct atmospheric zones for art display. A notable feature is the center space, which showcases a 50-year-old ebony wood table displaying artworks that symbolize minimalist Japanese mountain landscapes, complemented by andesite flooring that enhances the space's serene atmosphere. The facility demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, even extending to the washroom's design, which incorporates antique wood grain bricks and a leather-framed round mirror, transforming utilitarian spaces into artistic statements. This innovative approach to spatial design, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2019, exemplifies how architectural spaces can themselves become art pieces while serving as vessels for artistic display.
