Wuhan UI Sales Center is an innovative architectural and interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of sound art, spatial design, and cultural elements, completed in Wuhan, China in 2020. This sophisticated sales center draws profound inspiration from Wuhan's distinctive water culture, creating an immersive environment where sound and space interweave to form a unique sensory experience. The design concept revolves around the artistic interpretation of water, manifested through carefully curated soundscapes that guide visitors through the space, creating an invisible yet palpable connection to the city's riverine heritage. The center features a thoughtfully orchestrated progression of spaces, with the first floor expressing static tranquility through water elements, while the second floor emphasizes spatial mobility and dynamic engagement. Notable design elements include artistic lacquer finishes, decorative bricks, and pan DOMO flooring, complemented by an innovative art installation incorporating a suspension bridge and perforated copper elements that create dreamlike visual effects. The project, which earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design, masterfully combines traditional Chinese aesthetic elements with contemporary artistic expression, featuring a series of interconnected spaces that depict seasonal themes through regular windows and walls. The sophisticated sound design, created in collaboration with musician Ouge, serves as an invisible guide throughout the space, with strategically placed sound sources that create an engaging journey of acoustic discovery.
