Wood Table Lamp

Wood Table Lamp

Wood Table Lamp is an innovative lighting fixture that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of classic design aesthetics with contemporary functionality, characterized by its handcrafted solid wood construction and distinctive design elements. Originally conceived in 2017 as a response to market conventions, this illuminating piece draws inspiration from 1960s classic designs while introducing modern interpretations through its form and details. The lamp's construction showcases exceptional craftsmanship through manual wood turning techniques, executed in three distinct parts to optimize material efficiency and minimize waste. Crafted from semi-hard Zoita wood, the design achieves an optimal balance between weight and quality, featuring clean, simple lines that emphasize its architectural presence. A notable departure from traditional lamp design lies in its unique cable placement, which emerges from the top of the fixture, featuring an exclusive jute mesh cable with golden lurex thread accents that adds a sophisticated decorative element. Available in two sizes - a mini version measuring 150mm in both diameter and height, and a standard version with 280mm diameter and 230mm height - the lamp provides both decorative and focused lighting through energy-efficient LED technology. This design, which earned the Silver A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures Design category, represents a significant achievement in contemporary lighting design, combining environmental consciousness with aesthetic refinement. The lamp's thoughtful design considers both functional illumination and decorative appeal, creating atmospheric lighting that enhances spatial ambiance while serving as a distinguished piece of functional art.
