Wood Stone Serenity Residential Interior Design
Wood Stone Serenity Residential Interior Design is an exemplary residential interior design project that masterfully integrates natural materials and sophisticated spatial planning across a 270-square-meter composite house in New Taipei City. Created by designer Chun Hsiang Yang, this Silver A' Design Award-winning project demonstrates exceptional harmony between functionality and aesthetic refinement, featuring a thoughtfully organized three-story layout that accommodates both professional and familial needs. The ground floor serves as the homeowner's office space, while the upper two levels are dedicated to family living, incorporating both public and private zones through a neat, square layout. The design's distinctive character emerges from its sophisticated material palette, combining dark-tone hardwood with grayish black stone to create an atmosphere of understated luxury and tranquility. The interior architecture is enhanced by strategic natural light integration through dual facades, while the sophisticated interplay of light and shadow is achieved through open-work stairways and carefully positioned windows. Notable design elements include concave display cabinets framed by white walls and black titanium-plated metal, vertical wooden lines that seamlessly connect walls to ceilings, and an elegant combination of marble and wooden surfaces in the living areas. The second floor encompasses public spaces featuring an L-shaped beige sofa that provides visual lightness to the dark-toned environment, while the third floor is thoughtfully designed as a children's section, incorporating study areas and lounging spaces that maximize natural light exposure. This residential interior exemplifies how meticulous material selection and spatial planning can create an environment that balances sophistication with comfort, earning recognition at the A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award for its innovative approach to contemporary living spaces.
