The centerpiece of this remarkable interior space is a monumental steel structure resembling a pineapple wine brewing machine, measuring 9000mm in width and depth, with an impressive height of 13500mm, which serves as both a functional and artistic focal point within the atrium. This Silver A' Design Award-winning project, completed in 2020, represents a transformative approach to experiential retail design, incorporating diverse materials including wood, metal, mosaic tiles, antique glass, and stained glass to create a sophisticated century-style aesthetic intended to endure for generations. The space is thoughtfully organized around the central brewing machine installation, featuring a wine cellar at its base illuminated by indirect lighting, complemented by a counter lounge area dedicated to wine tasting and refreshments. The design philosophy embraces the fusion of French Napa winery influences with contemporary styling and subtle Okinawan cultural elements, creating an sophisticated environment that caters to adult visitors while celebrating the region's pineapple cultivation heritage. The innovative use of upper lighting maximizes the dramatic impact of the soaring ceiling height, while the careful integration of traditional and modern materials demonstrates an exceptional commitment to both aesthetic excellence and functional design principles.
