Willow Chair is an innovative furniture design that masterfully blends traditional Chinese aesthetics with contemporary minimalism, created by designers Yanmei Su, Zhenyi Chen, and Quanzhen Zhang. This sophisticated seating solution represents a thoughtful evolution of the traditional circle chair, distinguished by its unique combination of copper and wood materials, and characterized by its elegant supporting structure and fluid lines. The chair's dimensions of 800mm width, 650mm depth, and 590mm height reflect careful consideration of ergonomic principles while maintaining cultural significance. Its construction showcases exceptional craftsmanship through the meticulous bending of copper pipes, which required extensive experimentation to achieve perfect curvature, complemented by traditional mortise and tenon joinery in the wooden elements.
