Inspired by contemporary science fiction cinema, particularly the visual elements from 'The Passengers', this 120-square-meter dwelling represents a bold departure from conventional residential design through its seamless fusion of space, technology, and user experience. The interior architecture features distinctive contour lines and curved walls crafted from solid surfacing and customized gypsum board materials, creating a flowing, organic spatial narrative throughout the residence. The design's technical sophistication is evident in its comprehensive smart home integration, incorporating wireless lighting systems that synchronize with music and create ambient experiences, while recessed light belts serve as intuitive wayfinding elements. The project, completed in 2019, overcame significant material and construction challenges to maintain consistent white tonality across different surfaces, employing a careful selection of solid surfacing, metal, and glass materials to achieve a refined, reflective quality that enhances spatial perception.
