Where The Dream Outlasts Interior Design

Where The Dream Outlasts Interior Design is an innovative office space design project that revolutionizes traditional workplace layouts through the implementation of a progressive office-sharing concept. Created by Chinese designers Li Zhang and Chen Meng, this 650-square-meter interior space, completed in 2017 in Shanghai, represents a paradigm shift in commercial interior design by prioritizing human interaction and collaborative work environments. The design philosophy centers on creating a workspace that fosters joy, flexibility, fun, and creativity, ultimately promoting a more spontaneous and energetic working atmosphere. The space is characterized by its open layout and strategic use of cheerful lighting, featuring a harmonious blend of large white spaces complemented by vibrant blue and yellow accents that create an invigorating yet soothing environment. The project demonstrates exceptional attention to environmental consciousness through its careful selection of decorative materials, striking a balance between aesthetic appeal and ecological responsibility. This interior design achievement, recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, addresses the challenges of urban density while maintaining a strong focus on human-centric design principles. The project's innovative approach to space utilization and its emphasis on fostering interpersonal connections make it a significant contribution to contemporary workplace design, particularly in the context of evolving office culture and shared workspace concepts.
