This remarkable creation consists of two interconnected rings crafted in 18k yellow gold, featuring an extraordinary constellation of more than 20 carats of gemstones, including over 900 color sapphires in 100 different shades, along with Alexandrite, Tanzanite, Tsavorite, and both white and champagne diamonds. The design, inspired by the ethereal nature of dreams and deep-sea creatures, showcases a unique freeform outline that can be worn in three distinct ways. The first ring, measuring 49mm in width, 20mm in depth, and 33mm in height, represents the lighter stages of sleep with scattered stone placement, while the second ring, at 78mm width, 17mm depth, and 33mm height, symbolizes the REM sleep stage through its vibrant, dense arrangement of stones. The piece demonstrates exceptional technical achievement through its complex engineering, requiring over 500 hours of meticulous craftsmanship and employing four different setting techniques: bezel, semi-bezel, gypsy, and micro pavé. A particularly distinctive feature is the incorporation of Alexandrite stones, known for their remarkable color-changing properties, shifting from green to red under different lighting conditions. The design's innovative structure includes handcrafted hollow internal tubes that maximize the stones' brilliance while maintaining structural integrity, resulting in a total weight of 36.61 grams for both rings combined.
