Wenzhong Liquor Experience Center is an innovative architectural and interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of traditional Chinese spirits culture with contemporary industrial aesthetics. Located in Zunyi, this expansive facility spans 78 meters in length and 28 meters in width, featuring a sophisticated layout that includes a brewing craft hall, enterprise culture hall, visiting footpath, and central bar areas. The design ingeniously addresses spatial constraints by incorporating a second floor in the core area, creating a dynamic sense of vertical space within the original structure's limitations. The center's design philosophy draws inspiration from the mature wine tourism experiences of European establishments while celebrating the unique cultural heritage of Jiang-flavour Chinese spirits. Notable design elements include the integration of local red Danxia stone colors and sorghum-inspired hues, complemented by motifs reflecting the Chishui River's flowing waters and traditional Chinese solar terms. The facility employs fire-retardant materials such as cement and steel, presenting a thoughtful response to safety considerations while maintaining an industrial-modern aesthetic. The project, completed in 2020 and recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional spatial planning through its innovative use of a 28 by 18-meter core exchange area, featuring closed wine jar displays and a sea-viewing platform that effectively divides the building's 30-meter span.
