Welldosha Spa Lobby Interior is an award-winning architectural design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of traditional Taiwanese elements with contemporary spatial design principles. Created in 2017, this 265-square-meter interior space serves as a sophisticated wellness facility specifically designed for modern women, incorporating three distinct yet interconnected zones: a reception area, recreation space, and dining section. The design's philosophical foundation rests on bridging the gap between traditional and contemporary aesthetics, achieved through the thoughtful integration of local materials such as traditional soil walls, which symbolize the enduring spirit of Taiwanese women, alongside modern elements like a striking moss wall adorned with branch structures representing the strength of contemporary femininity. The space's innovative flexibility is achieved through movable units and sliding door systems that enable seamless transformation for various functions while maintaining practical considerations such as odor control between the dining and lobby areas. The interior's material palette includes polished concrete flooring that preserves the building's original structural identity while creating a sophisticated backdrop for the carefully curated design elements. This project, which earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional achievement in spatial planning, incorporating biophilic elements through natural plant integration, and showcasing remarkable attention to cultural sensitivity in its design approach.
