Weaving Space Multi-Functional Headquarters is an innovative architectural transformation project that exemplifies adaptive reuse in contemporary design, converting a former factory building into a sophisticated multi-functional space encompassing a showroom, catwalk, and design office. The design concept draws inspiration from the intricate process of cloth weaving, ingeniously implemented through the strategic use of aluminum-extruded profiles as the primary architectural element for wall construction. This distinctive approach manifests in varying densities of aluminum extrusions that define different functional zones while maintaining visual connectivity throughout the space. The exterior facade features densely arranged aluminum extrusions, creating a secure, coffer-like appearance that controls access, while the interior employs lower-density configurations to promote transparency and facilitate communication between franchisees and designers. The project masterfully balances preservation and innovation by retaining the industrial charm of the original factory through the use of terrazzo and steel angles as neutral background elements, while introducing refined contemporary elements such as polished marble staircases and crystal chandeliers to establish a fresh brand identity.
