Waterfall Chair and armchair is an innovative furniture design that exemplifies sustainable design principles through its creative repurposing of discarded plywood materials. Created by British designer Jorge Prieto, this distinctive seating solution addresses contemporary environmental concerns by transforming waste materials into functional, aesthetically pleasing furniture pieces. The design's most notable feature is its unique construction method, which utilizes various reclaimed plywood planks bent through a vacuum-bag molding process with a single mold, resulting in each piece being inherently unique in appearance due to the varied textures and colors of the salvaged materials. The chair's dimensions of 494 x 660 x 860 millimeters are carefully calculated to ensure optimal ergonomic comfort while maintaining a stackable design for efficient storage.
