Washbasin Angle Washbasin

Washbasin Angle Washbasin

Washbasin Angle Washbasin is an innovative bathroom fixture that revolutionizes the traditional washbasin design through its unique approach to concealing the drain hole, creating an optical illusion where water appears to simply dissolve into the basin's surface. Designed by Grigory Malitskiy and Maria Malitskaya, this Silver A' Design Award-winning creation in the Bathroom Furniture and Sanitary Ware Design category represents a significant departure from conventional washbasin aesthetics. The design, measuring 900mm in length, 400mm in width, and 100mm in height, is crafted from a composite material combining artificial stone with acrylic and mineral pigments, including quartz crumb, ensuring durability and sophisticated appearance. The distinguishing feature of this washbasin lies in its ingenious geometric configuration, where carefully calculated angles and surfaces work together to obscure the drainage system from the user's view while maintaining full functionality. This innovative approach stems from extensive research indicating users' preference for minimalist bathroom fixtures that enhance relaxation without visible utilitarian elements. The drain hole is elegantly concealed beneath a decorative plate that operates on a click mechanism, maintaining the basin's clean lines while ensuring practical accessibility for maintenance. The design philosophy emphasizes both aesthetic refinement and functional efficiency, creating a harmonious balance between form and function that transforms the everyday act of using a washbasin into a more pleasurable experience. The industrial production method ensures consistency in quality while making this innovative design accessible for widespread implementation in contemporary bathroom environments.
