Viveria D2502 Apartment

Viveria D2502 Apartment is a meticulously designed residential interior project located in Mumbai, India, exemplifying contemporary minimalist design principles while accommodating the diverse needs of a multi-generational family. Completed in December 2019, this 200-square-meter apartment, designed by architect Naved Patel, showcases an innovative approach to spatial planning and material selection that earned it a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. The apartment's design philosophy centers on creating individualized spaces within a cohesive aesthetic framework, featuring four bedrooms, each tailored to specific age groups ranging from 4 to 55 years. The interior architecture is distinguished by its sophisticated integration of materials, including leather cladding, CNC laser-cut patterns, and metal engravings on veneer surfaces, creating a harmonious blend of modern luxury and functional design. Notable architectural elements include a minimalist entrance foyer with camouflaged doors, a sand-inspired white-shaded wall design in the living room, and thoughtfully designed bedrooms featuring eccentric graphical bedside units and geometric hanging lights. The project demonstrates exceptional attention to detail through its implementation of automated lighting and HVAC systems, hand-textured marble walls, and semi-open see-through sliding partitions in the master bedroom. The design successfully balances individual preferences with collective aesthetic harmony, employing a careful selection of materials including solid wood, porcelain tiles, PU coatings, and brass metal inlays, all chosen for their specific aesthetic and functional properties.
