Visa Innovation Center Singapore Experience Showcase is an innovative interior design project that revolutionizes the concept of experiential spaces in the financial technology sector, featuring a sophisticated blend of physical and digital elements centered around a pioneering rotating carousel installation. This groundbreaking 640-square-meter facility serves as an integrated co-creation environment, incorporating exhibition zones, work areas, meeting spaces, and a cafeteria, all seamlessly connected through thoughtful spatial design and cutting-edge technology. The centerpiece of the showcase is a remote-controlled 360-degree rotatable carousel that presents three distinct day-to-day scenarios - home, retail, and transport - demonstrating future payment possibilities through immersive storytelling. The design, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, employs advanced engineering solutions including a slip ring signal and power transmission system supporting 500kg of interior fitting, complemented by an innovative stabilization mechanism utilizing industrial casters. The space features sophisticated technologies such as the Magic Mirror system, which captures real-time metrics on customer behavior and merchandise productivity, exemplifying the fusion of design innovation with practical functionality. Created through extensive quantitative and qualitative research, the showcase demonstrates exceptional attention to messaging, safety, buildability, and user experience, while maintaining a strong focus on visitor engagement and lasting impressions. The project, completed between June 2018 and January 2019, represents a significant advancement in exhibition design, where every element serves both aesthetic and functional purposes, creating an environment that facilitates the exploration and development of future commerce solutions.
