Villa AT House is an architecturally distinguished residential structure located along Norway's southern coast in Søgne, exemplifying a harmonious blend of contemporary design and environmental integration. This platinum A' Design Award-winning residence, completed in 2018, features an innovative L-shaped floor plan that pivots around a long curved glass façade, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape while maintaining privacy. The 310-square-meter structure stands as a departure from conventional boxy forms, showcasing a fluid, contemporary interpretation of wooden architecture through its distinctive curved façade composed of thin timber slats. The design demonstrates exceptional spatial organization, with three bedrooms and a guesthouse arranged across a single level, all positioned to maximize the connection with the natural environment. The house rests elegantly on a podium, incorporating wraparound terraces and locally sourced stone steps that lead to a geometrically designed swimming pool overlooking the water. The interior design reflects a minimalist aesthetic with white walls and wooden floors throughout, while slatted timber ceilings mirror the exterior façade, paying homage to traditional Norwegian architectural elements.
