Vertical Ock Furnitures Furniture Collection

Vertical Ock Furnitures Furniture Collection

Vertical Ock Furnitures Furniture Collection is an innovative modular furniture series that exemplifies contemporary design principles through its distinctive vertical composition and structural intricacy. Created by designers Wei Jingye, Sun Kezhao, and Wei Xinmiao in 2019, this collection comprises three primary components: a chair, shelf, and storage cabinet, each featuring a sophisticated interplay of longitudinal and transverse elements. The design's fundamental concept revolves around modular longitudinal interspersing, offering unlimited possibilities for horizontal placement configurations. Crafted primarily from robust oak wood and complemented by metal elements and subtle fabric accents, the collection achieves a harmonious blend of natural aesthetics and modern functionality. The furniture pieces showcase impressive dimensions, with the storage cabinet measuring 2500mm×600mm×1920mm, the shelf at 670mm×550mm×1000mm, and the seating unit at 800mm×410mm×680mm. The collection's distinctive characteristic lies in its structural approach, utilizing a combination of numerical control and manual processing techniques to create an interspersed support system that ensures both stability and visual appeal. This innovative furniture collection, which earned recognition through an Iron A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category, successfully bridges the gap between natural elements and contemporary design sensibilities, offering a fresh interpretation of modern furniture that emphasizes both functionality and aesthetic refinement while maintaining a clean, minimalist approach to design.
