Verge32 3-Storey Semi-Detached House

Verge32 3-Storey Semi-Detached House is an exemplary residential architectural project that masterfully integrates modern tropical design principles within a hillside setting, encompassing 3,267 square feet of thoughtfully crafted living space. This distinguished residential development, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design category, represents a sophisticated reimagining of resort-style living for everyday habitation. The design philosophy centers on creating a tranquil, nature-inspired environment through the harmonious application of natural materials including stone, marble, and timber, while maintaining a deliberately minimalist approach that eschews excessive ornamentation. The interior architecture features several notable elements, including a striking metal art piece with tropical leaf motifs at the entrance, a sophisticated dining area anchored by a Raintree slab table, and an innovatively designed master bedroom that incorporates full-height folding Louvre panels to create distinct chamber and study spaces. The project's success lies in its ability to capture the essence of tropical design while avoiding traditional Southeast Asian design tropes, instead pursuing a contemporary interpretation that emphasizes clean lines, neutral color palettes, and rich textures. The thoughtful integration of natural elements and strategic space planning creates an environment that successfully bridges the gap between luxury resort aesthetics and practical residential functionality, establishing a new paradigm for modern tropical residential design.
