Veizla Table Dining Table

Veizla Table Dining Table is an innovative solid wood dining table that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of Scandinavian design principles with contemporary functionality. Taking its name from the Old-Norse word for feast or banquet, this meticulously crafted furniture piece features a distinctive assembly system utilizing a cleverly designed bracket that enables flat-pack transportation while maintaining exceptional structural integrity. The table, measuring 1000mm in width, 2000mm in length, and 730mm in height, can be extended to 2800mm with additional leaves, making it adaptable to various dining scenarios. Constructed entirely from edge-glued panels, the design demonstrates a strong commitment to environmental sustainability while offering the versatility to be produced in any available hardwood species. The table's sophisticated engineering eliminates traditional corner legs through an innovative undercarriage system that combines three primary components - legs and stretcher - connected via specialized steel brackets at both top and bottom junction points. This thoughtful design approach, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category, emerged from extensive experience in kitchen design and careful observation of contemporary furniture trends. The table's design philosophy emphasizes both practical functionality for modern open-plan living spaces and elegant aesthetics that complement diverse interior schemes, making it equally suitable for domestic and corporate environments. Its unique assembly mechanism, protected by design registration since 2013, represents a significant advancement in furniture engineering, while its timeless aesthetic appeal and robust construction ensure its longevity as both a functional piece and design statement.
