VDP Engineering Office is an innovative architectural interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of raw industrial materials with sophisticated design elements in a contemporary workplace setting. The 300-square-meter office space demonstrates a masterful approach to open-plan design, characterized by its strategic use of natural light and thoughtful spatial organization. The design philosophy centers on the juxtaposition of raw materials such as exposed concrete, flamed natural iron sheets, and polished green lacquered surfaces, creating a dynamic visual dialogue that reflects the engineering firm's focus on infrastructure and environmental impact studies. The space features a distinctive layout incorporating three box-like volumes that effectively separate different functional areas while maintaining visual connectivity. The interior architecture includes a reception area with a custom-designed secretary workstation, a welcoming waiting area adjacent to a wall library, multiple directive rooms, and fifteen open working stations arranged in efficient clusters. A significant design element is the continuous window wall that floods the space with natural light, complemented by an innovative translucent PVC ceiling that ensures uniform illumination throughout. The project, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases exceptional attention to technical details, including exposed mechanical systems and custom-designed iron workstations, while maintaining a sophisticated aesthetic balance between industrial rawness and refined architectural elements.
