Variable Concrete Bench is an innovative street furniture design that exemplifies the intersection of mathematical precision, environmental consciousness, and public art functionality. The bench's distinctive design is based on the deconstruction and recombination of cubic elements, creating positive and negative spaces that can be arranged in various configurations. Crafted from environmentally conscious concrete that incorporates recycled construction waste as aggregate, this bench represents a sustainable approach to urban furniture design. The dimensions of 450mm x (337.5/112.5)mm x 450mm allow for versatile deployment in public spaces while maintaining visual impact and practical functionality. The design, which won the Iron A' Design Award in the Street and City Furniture Design category, demonstrates exceptional innovation in its approach to sustainable materials and modular flexibility.
