Vapor Breeze Tea Set is an innovative and mathematically-inspired tea service design that embodies the ethereal qualities of rising tea vapor through its sophisticated geometric form. Created by Professor Naai-Jung Shih from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, this avant-garde tea set represents a groundbreaking intersection of algorithmic design and functional artistry. The set, which garnered the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Generative, Algorithmic, Parametric and AI-Assisted Design category, features a distinctive composition where dynamic channels and hyperbolical surfaces create an illusion of frozen vapor movement. The teapot, measuring 10cm in each dimension, and accompanying cups at 4x4x3cm, are crafted using advanced 3D printing technology and finished with a carefully selected white coating that enhances the play of light and shadow across their surfaces. The design's most notable feature is its self-evolving vapor vocabulary, manifested through intricate patterns that encircle the vessels, creating a visual narrative of tea's essence. The intentionally pointed base creates a floating effect, while the integrated 3D channels within both pot and cups establish an intriguing interplay with the contained tea.
