Vanke Zhen Wan Fu Sales Center

Vanke Zhen Wan Fu Sales Center

Vanke Zhen Wan Fu Sales Center is an exemplary interior design project completed in 2021 in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, that masterfully integrates local landscape elements with contemporary design aesthetics. The sales center, designed by Wally Mau, represents a sophisticated interpretation of Lingnan cultural heritage through its thoughtful spatial composition and artistic expression. The design philosophy draws inspiration from the surrounding mountainous terrain and maritime environment, incorporating these natural elements through carefully curated paintings and distinctive marble patterns that evoke the undulating waves of the sea. The interior space is distinguished by its bold use of black and red as primary color schemes, colors that carry historical significance dating back to the Qin Dynasty when they were reserved for noble applications, thus lending the space a sense of gravitas and cultural resonance. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning project in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its modern articulation of traditional Chinese design elements, creating a harmonious balance between contemporary functionality and cultural authenticity. The five-month project duration resulted in a space that not only serves its commercial purpose but also stands as a testament to the possibilities of cultural preservation through modern design interpretation, effectively creating an environment that resonates with both traditional sensibilities and contemporary expectations.
