UV Unwrapping
UV Unwrapping is a process in 3D modeling where the surface of a model is laid out flat in two dimensions so that textures and images can be placed on it accurately. When working on complex shapes, designers sometimes use seams, which are lines marked on the 3D model to guide how the surface will be split and unfolded. These seams help keep important details in the right place, making sure that patterns or images line up well on the final model. Good seam placement can make painting or editing textures much easier, especially for models with lots of curves or details.
