Urban Peach Garden Villa

Urban Peach Garden Villa

Urban Peach Garden Villa is an exemplary residential interior design project completed in 2020, located in the Bojingting community of Ningbo city, China, encompassing 1800 square meters of thoughtfully curated living space. This sophisticated architectural endeavor, designed by Qifeng Zhang, masterfully balances two contrasting design philosophies: one that embraces rational, distant grandeur, and another that intimately connects with daily life. The design's spatial organization is particularly noteworthy, featuring a ground floor that harmoniously flows around a central courtyard, where carefully positioned pine trees create natural, dynamic vistas through strategically placed windows. The interior layout incorporates a sunken living room and dining area adjacent to the courtyard, achieving a delicate balance between separation and openness while maximizing natural illumination. The basement level, distinguished by three innovative atriums, is dedicated to leisure and sporting activities, with particular attention paid to natural light integration. The project exemplifies a sophisticated approach to modern luxury living, where materiality plays a crucial role through the thoughtful incorporation of stone, wood finishes, and smart home technologies. This exceptional design, which was honored with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates remarkable attention to creating harmonious family spaces through scenario-based design rather than superficial decoration, reflecting the designer's philosophy that true luxury lies in the warmth and functionality of home rather than ostentatious display.
