Up Your Street Cottage Cheese

Up Your Street Cottage Cheese

Up Your Street Cottage Cheese is an innovative packaging design concept that revolutionizes the traditional cottage cheese category through a distinctive architectural approach to product presentation. This groundbreaking design, created in 2011, reimagines cottage cheese packaging as a series of house-shaped Tetra Pak containers that collectively form a visually engaging streetscape when displayed on retail shelves. The design concept transcends conventional dairy packaging by incorporating both functional and aesthetic elements, featuring a practical tear-off strip and an attached wooden spoon for convenient consumption. The packaging system accommodates various product sizes, ranging from 200-300g for standard offerings to 600g for limited editions, with each variant represented by a unique house design. This creative approach effectively addresses the challenge of reinvigorating an established dairy category by introducing dynamic flavor combinations and seasonal variations, such as themed designs for Halloween and Valentine's Day. The design's strategic use of the house motif serves as a metaphor for the product's evolution from traditional to contemporary, encouraging consumers to reconsider cottage cheese beyond its conventional applications. The project, which earned the prestigious Platinum A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, demonstrates exceptional innovation in both structural design and brand storytelling, effectively transforming a utilitarian dairy product into an engaging consumer experience that combines functionality with visual appeal.
