Up Bathroom Collection

Up Bathroom Collection

Up Bathroom Collection is an innovative bathroom furniture series designed by Italian designer Emanuele Pangrazi that revolutionizes traditional sanitary ware through its distinctive ergonomic approach and contemporary aesthetic sensibility. The collection's defining characteristic lies in its pioneering tilted seating plane design, which represents a significant advancement in user comfort and accessibility, particularly addressing the needs of an aging European demographic with joint mobility concerns. Comprising nine meticulously crafted pieces, including wall-hung and counter-top washbasins, toilets, and bidets, the collection seamlessly integrates functional innovation with geometric precision. Each piece is manufactured using premium vitreous china or fine fire clay, ensuring durability and maintaining high aesthetic standards. The collection's dimensions are carefully calculated, ranging from compact 420mm counter-top washbasins to expansive 800mm wall-hung variants, offering versatile solutions for diverse spatial requirements. The design's innovative approach earned recognition through the Platinum A' Design Award in the Bathroom Furniture and Sanitary Ware Design category, acknowledging its contribution to advancing bathroom design aesthetics and functionality. The collection's development, completed between November 2012 and February 2013, demonstrates how thoughtful geometric relationships and ergonomic considerations can transform everyday bathroom fixtures into sophisticated design elements that enhance user experience while maintaining visual elegance.
