Unu Shelf And Wardrobe System

Unu Shelf And Wardrobe System

Unu Shelf and Wardrobe System is an innovative modular furniture solution that exemplifies sophisticated Danish design principles through its versatile and minimalist approach. This comprehensive storage system, designed between 2010-2017, represents a significant advancement in adaptable furniture design, featuring a highly customizable framework constructed from 4mm aluminum with powder-coated finishes in black or white. The system's remarkable flexibility stems from its meticulously calculated dimensional variations, offering two lengths, three heights, and two depths, with shelves that can be mounted upside down to triple the height options. Its ingenious design allows for multidirectional configuration - vertical, horizontal, and extending outward from the wall - enabling users to create sculptural storage solutions that seamlessly integrate both shelf and wardrobe functionalities. The system's innovative wall bracket design conceals cables from electronic devices, while maintaining a clean aesthetic with no visible mounting hardware. Distinguished by its commitment to functional minimalism, the system incorporates various complementary accessories including book supports, hangers, mirrors, and trays, enhancing its versatility. The design, which earned a Golden A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category in 2017, showcases exceptional attention to technical details, with extensive research informing its load-bearing capabilities and optimal dimensions for various storage needs. The system's sophisticated engineering allows for seamless integration of wardrobe elements, while its modular nature facilitates endless customization possibilities, making it particularly suitable for contemporary living spaces where adaptability and aesthetic coherence are paramount.
