The design masterfully combines contemporary data visualization principles with traditional packaging elements, featuring carefully selected GFSmith Colorplan stocks with specialized embossings including Coltskin, Sandgrain, and Buckram textures that create a tactile experience correlating with the gin's taste profile. The packaging design, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, showcases technical innovation through its unconventional production method, utilizing HP Indigo printing technology for short-run capability while maintaining cost-effectiveness and achieving water-resistant properties. The main label, measuring 230 x 120mm, incorporates a pioneering dual-sided printing approach with separately applied adhesive, solving the traditional challenge of full-bleed reverse printing on embossed surfaces. The design's aesthetic draws inspiration from early computing, featuring the first computer font ever created for its logotype, paired with monospaced typography to evoke a coding aesthetic.
