ttmm for Pebble Watchfaces Apps is an innovative digital interface design collection comprising 130 unique watchfaces specifically created for smartwatch applications, representing a significant advancement in contemporary timepiece visualization. This comprehensive collection, designed by Albert Salamon and developed with a team of programmers including Artur Salamon, Elijah Kang, and Gregoire Sage, exemplifies minimalist aesthetics combined with functional sophistication. The design philosophy draws inspiration from futuristic science fiction cinematography, particularly works such as 2001 Space Odyssey and Star Wars, resulting in abstract infographic displays that perfectly embody the digital age aesthetic. Each watchface within the collection has been meticulously crafted to overcome the technical constraints of e-paper display technology, featuring pixel-perfect graphics optimized for the 144×168 pixel resolution screen while maintaining excellent readability in varying light conditions. The interface design incorporates sophisticated functionality, allowing users to access multiple data points including time, date, weekly information, step counting, activity duration, distance metrics, temperature readings, and system status indicators. The project, which was developed between March 2016 and March 2017, demonstrates exceptional technical innovation in its approach to battery life optimization and user interaction design, incorporating customizable information displays and shake-activated additional data views. This work has been recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interface, Interaction and User Experience Design category, acknowledging its contribution to advancing digital interface design.
