Transient Light Shared Space is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of natural elements with contemporary architectural principles, recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design. The 353.7-square-meter communal space, designed by Yu-Ling Hung, draws profound inspiration from the Koch Curve fragmentation paradigm and the organic form of seeds, manifesting these concepts through a series of sophisticated curved elements and geometric patterns. The design's distinctive features include a 4.5-meter-high ceiling, curved glass bookshelves, and thoughtfully segmented areas comprising a reception center, reading area, video room, and gym, all unified through a cohesive design language. The project employs premium materials including imported tiles, Japanese diatomaceous earth wallpaper, and marble, enhanced by a refined earthy color palette and mineral gold powder coatings that create subtle visual effects across the curved surfaces. The space's innovative approach to partitioning relies primarily on transparent boundaries and curved elements rather than traditional walls, fostering an open, flowing environment that maintains distinct functional zones while preserving visual continuity. The design's sophisticated implementation of natural light, combined with its artistic interpretation of organic forms, creates a transformative environment that successfully balances aesthetic excellence with practical functionality, embodying the project's core theme of growth and natural harmony.
