Transcendence By Tranquility Interior Design
Transcendence by Tranquility Interior Design is an award-winning residential interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of modern aesthetics with contemplative spatial design principles. Created by designers Te-Yu Liu and Hui-Ching Chang in Taoyuan City, Taiwan, this 262-square-meter space masterfully integrates sophisticated material selections and thoughtful architectural elements to create an environment of serene sophistication. The design's centerpiece features a striking white-grain marble wall, artfully composed using Mondrian-inspired design principles, creating a visual focal point that anchors the living space. The project's philosophical foundation draws from ancient Chinese wisdom, specifically referencing Zhuge Liang's principle that tranquility is essential for achieving elevated aspirations. The interior composition demonstrates exceptional material harmony through the juxtaposition of various elements: white-pattern marble, wooden grilles of varying lengths, dark grey stone accents, and frosted metal trim work. The living area showcases a sophisticated 9-palace grid oak cabinet system that balances aesthetic appeal with functional storage solutions. The dining space maintains design continuity through coordinated wooden wall treatments and carefully selected titanium fixtures, while modern lighting solutions featuring long light tubes and metallic dining table elements contribute to the contemporary atmosphere. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning project in the Interior Space and Exhibition Design category represents a thoughtful approach to modern residential design, where each element serves both aesthetic and functional purposes, creating a harmonious living environment that promotes both physical comfort and mental wellbeing.
