Transbatur Office

Transbatur Office

Transbatur Office is an innovative interior design project completed in 2017, encompassing 500 square meters of office space in Istanbul, Turkey, that masterfully integrates corporate identity with spatial design through the creative adaptation of transportation-themed elements. The project, designed by architect Serhan Bayik, demonstrates exceptional conceptual integrity by incorporating distinctive features of logistics and transportation into the workplace environment, particularly evident in the entrance hall where container-inspired materials and road-like patterns create an immersive brand experience. The design's distinguishing characteristics include custom-made trapezoid metal sheet wall partitions that mirror container aesthetics, authentic container-style doors, and a sophisticated floor pattern that simulates road surfaces, all working in harmony to establish a cohesive corporate narrative. The space's visual depth is enhanced through strategically placed wall-to-wall mirrors at corridor endpoints, while yellow glazed partitions serve dual purposes as both spatial dividers and display areas for truck models. The project overcame significant technical challenges in implementing curvilinear forms while maintaining precise joint connections between various materials and accommodating essential building systems within the design's aesthetic framework. This thoughtfully executed design, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, exemplifies how interior architecture can effectively communicate brand identity while maintaining functional workplace requirements through innovative material application and spatial planning.
