The chair's distinctive design emerged from a contour sketch exercise, where a continuous line drawing was transformed into a three-dimensional steel wire framework, featuring characteristic elements such as a 180-degree bend at the feet, a gracefully bowed crossbar beneath the seat, and an integrated handle arch at the back. The chair's engineering incorporates cold-rolled steel wire, precisely bent using specialized tooling to achieve specific radii, while the top grain leather components are reinforced with a secondary fabric layer to optimize durability and maintain aesthetic appeal. Meeting ANSI/BIFMA X5.1-2011 standards for contract seating, the chair measures 54.5cm in width, 83.5cm in height, and 55cm in depth, making it suitable for both residential and commercial environments. The design's innovative approach to comfort is achieved through flexible sling components that naturally adjust to user positioning, while custom-molded foam pads prevent wear during stacking.
