Tower House Residential House is an innovative architectural renovation project that transformed a historic 18th-century building in Italy's Monferrato region, a UNESCO World Heritage site, into a sophisticated contemporary living space. The project, designed by interior architect Alessandro Marchelli, encompasses approximately 200 square meters spread across two floors, combining the second floor and attic into a unified residential masterpiece. The design philosophy centers on merging functionality with aesthetics through unconventional volumetric shapes and sophisticated color schemes, creating a sensory-rich environment where architecture, light, and design intersect harmoniously. The residence features a striking total white container aesthetic punctuated by impactful elements, including a self-supporting high-tech wrought iron staircase, exposed living room beams, and a convex fireplace. The integration of advanced home automation systems controls dimmable LED lighting, music, floor heating/cooling, and security features, enabling the creation of unique atmospheric scenarios. Notable design elements include a spa area with an emotional shower, double bath with hydromassage and airpool, and an outdoor lounge/solarium featuring an infinity hot tub accessible through a sliding glass wall. This exceptional residential project, which earned recognition at the A' Design Award in the Interior Space and Exhibition Design category, exemplifies the successful fusion of historical preservation with contemporary luxury living, demonstrating innovative space utilization and sophisticated technological integration while maintaining the building's original character.
