This limited edition handmade ring features a sophisticated dual-material construction, consisting of a 14-karat gold cylindrical core that interlocks with an external layer of grey concrete, creating a striking visual and tactile contrast. The design, whose name draws inspiration from the Greek diacritical mark 'tonos' used to indicate stress in pronunciation, metaphorically employs this concept through its projected gold core segment that emphasizes the material transition. With precise dimensions of 17.5mm inner diameter and a thoughtfully engineered profile thickness of 3mm (comprising a 1mm gold core and 2mm concrete layer), the ring challenges conventional perceptions of concrete as a jewelry material. The design successfully transforms concrete, typically associated with industrial construction, into an elegant wearable piece that maintains comfort and sophistication. Through an intricate seven-step production process involving 3D modeling, testing, printing, silicon molding, metalwork, concrete casting, and finishing, each piece achieves a unique character while maintaining consistent quality.
