Tong Yueli Sales Center
Tong Yueli Sales Center is an innovative interior design project located in Zhongshan, Guangdong, China, that reimagines the traditional sales center concept through a fairytale-inspired perspective, completed in September 2019. This 308-square-meter space, designed by Yi Tonghua, masterfully integrates whimsical elements with functional design to create an immersive environment that appeals to both children and adults. The design philosophy centers on storytelling through architectural elements, featuring a striking lobby with vibrant colors and paper sculptures that depict an enchanted forest complete with luxuriant trees, blooming flowers, and woodland creatures. The space employs sophisticated lighting techniques, including hidden light strips emitting warm yellow illumination, complemented by colorful suspended spherical elements that enhance the magical atmosphere. Drawing inspiration from classic fairytale narratives, including motifs from The Little Prince, the design successfully bridges the gap between childhood wonder and adult sophistication. The center's distinctive approach to spatial design incorporates geometric elements that are thoughtfully transformed and combined to express joy and emotional resonance, while the background wall's intricate paper sculpture work creates a three-dimensional storytelling canvas. This innovative project, which won the Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2020, represents a significant advancement in commercial space design, particularly in its approach to creating educational and emotionally engaging environments within real estate marketing contexts.
