The design, conceptualized by Cheng-Chi Hung, transforms traditional retail architecture by employing a sophisticated modular metal mesh system that creates fluid, wave-like surfaces inspired by the themes of sparkling, waves, and rhythm. The flagship store's distinctive design approach challenges conventional retail space planning by maintaining a nearly 1:1 ratio between multifunctional areas and commercial cabinet spaces, incorporating art installations as spatial dividers that enable themed events and elevated artistic promotion. The architectural facade demonstrates technical innovation through its large-scale stone cutting technique with pronounced curvature, while the expanded metal mesh material creates a majestic exterior that allows natural light and ventilation. The interior space flow is carefully orchestrated through distinct zones including display windows with perspective views, a multifunctional lobby, themed walls with artistic effects, media cabinets for digital information display, brand-specific display areas, a watch workbench integrated with metal mesh walls, and an exclusive VIP room. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning project, completed in 2023, represents a significant advancement in retail design, successfully increasing business performance by 60% while establishing a new paradigm for brand space revitalization in urban environments.
